How it plays

Every puzzle is sixteen words hiding four groups of four. Pick four that belong together and lock them in.

Four wrong guesses and the puzzle is over. Groups you have already found stay found.

Better with a group

Ranked on mistakes, not speed

Your group's board ranks on how few mistakes you made. Time only ever breaks a tie — and the clock starts on your first tap, not when the puzzle went live. Playing at eleven at night on the train costs you nothing.

Share the result, not the answers

When you finish you get a grid of coloured squares: how you got there, never what the answers were. No word, no category, nothing that shortens the puzzle for whoever opens it next. One tap and it is in the group chat.

Something to argue about

Streaks, perfect games, and “purple first” for anyone who cracks the hardest group before the easy ones. The numbers that start a conversation, rather than the ones that just rank people.
